Adriana received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM) in 2005. Prior to starting graduate school, she worked in the cement and water-treatment industries. She obtained a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Tech in 2011, under the supervision of Prof. Sven Behrens. She then worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow with Prof. Hang Lu at Georgia Tech. She also worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher with Prof. Marc Vidal at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Adriana is originally from San Luis Potosí, México.
